A free invoice builder once refused to let a client skip his own email field — required, no toggle, no workaround. So a personal invoicing tool got built instead: local, single-user, SQLite-backed, used for real clients for about six months before becoming a proper product.
🔥 The Problem
Most invoice tools bury you in accounting bloat — double-entry bookkeeping, expense tracking, dashboards — when all you actually need is a clean PDF and a way to get paid, on your own terms.

Rebuilt as a real multi-user service with one philosophy: minimal invoices, professional PDFs, no accounting bloat. Almost every field is optional, including the client's email. Snapshots keep old invoices intact even after a client's details change.
